The Problem.

Radio frequency spectrum is a finite resource that is needed by all spacecraft operators, making it highly competitive and expensive to acquire. Government allocations to operators are also time consuming. 15 to 20% of allocated spectrum remains unused and governments pay billions of dollars to purchase more domestic access. As the space sector grows, there is a need for more efficient utilization of this resource.

The Solution.

SpectraNet is a space radio frequency spectrum brokerage that dynamically leases underutilized frequencies to spacecraft operators. Spectrum suppliers generate additional revenue
through their unused spectrum, and users benefit from faster
access and lower fees than traditional licensing.

Delivery Methodology.

Industry Network

SpectraNet's network of potential suppliers and users ensure a competitive market. Pricing will be influenced by frequency availability,  duration, location, and demand for
the type of spectrum.

Confidential Service

Enables suppliers and users to confidentially state their spectrum needs. SpectraNet allows suppliers to list their available spectrum, and users to request spectrum for their specific purposes. SpectraNet also protects the privacy of both parties, and ensures that their spectrum needs are matched without publicly revealing their identities or details.

Industry Endorsement

SpectraNet is actively engaged with relevant government, satellite industry associations and major commercial spectrum holders to encourage widespread adoption of leasing as a necessary adjunct to traditional radio spectrum licensing for space.
